Calendar of Council Meetings

The Council meets on the 1^st Tuesday of every month, except August, and its Annual Meeting is held in May. Additional meetings are convened as and when required, including meetings of the Finance and Development Committee, the Minutes of which are then reported to the following meeting of Council.

Unless they are excluded by resolution for valid legal reasons, the public and press are welcome to attend but not to speak at these meetings. However, an Open Forum meeting, where the public can raise and discuss matters relating to local government services in Cilybebyll, is held before Council meets in September and March of each year. Issues can also be raised by Members on behalf of individual members of the public, at any meeting of Council if the agenda allows.

This is a schedule of the forthcoming meetings of Council and its Committees. Each of the meetings takes place at one of the following locations -

Alltwen Community Centre, Dyffryn Road, Alltwen, Pontardawe
Rhos Community Centre, March Hywel, Rhos, Pontardawe
